These are some of the Character and Environment designs created for my thesis short film, tentatively entitled (working title) "The Bookworm". These were made with the assistance of Juliet H., a freelance designer. Although the script, storyboards and animatic are (almost) completely done, I am keeping the story to myself and a select few others for now. This is being planned out, at the current time, as a stop motion/CG hybrid short film.
The main character, "Bookworm". He is a quiet, studious fellow who keeps to himself.
The Bookworm's neighbor, "Ms. Caterpillar". She is a flamboyant lady who enjoys letting loose and having fun.

This is a short animation made by myself and two other students at DePaul University. We were going for a "paper cutout" look for the style, but it was actually made in Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects and edited in Premiere. Our team was so small, we all had a hand in pretty much everything at one point or another, but we gave ourselves a little credit for the main tasks. Hope you enjoy it!
